Event Space & Conference Lodging

Located 10 minutes from BWI airport, positioned 15 minutes from downtown Baltimore and approximately 40 minutes from Washington DC, UMBC offers state-of-the-art housing, classroom and meeting space, meal options and access to local attractions, wifi, laundry facilities, vending machines, lounges, front desk assistance, and on-campus catering. All facilities are a 10-minute from classrooms, labs, athletic center, library, eateries and more.

Meeting & Event Spaces

UMBC has meeting and event space that can be used as part of a conference package or stand-alone services. When you submit your inquiry form to Events and Conference Services, you can specify the type of space and technology that is needed. If your group desires catering UMBC offers a list of approved caterers that can be discussed with Events and Conference Services.

Spaces will be available for reserve starting the second full week of the semester and will be available through the beginning of 24-hour quiet hours for the Residential Communities (10 days prior to final exams).

Conference & Intern Lodging

Residential Life can accommodate approximately 3,000 summer conference guests at a given time in our suite-style halls and apartment communities. The availability of housing types depends on group type, accommodations and ADA needs, and general summer scheduling. Click Conference Floor Plans  to view our housing facilities.

We also welcome summer intern housing for those who may be interning in the Baltimore/DC Metro area. Current UMBC students interested in summer housing should visit our Summer Housing page.
