The Residential Experience Survey
Residential Life values feedback from residential students about the on-campus living experience. On November 22, 2021, the Residential Experience Survey will launch. Students will receive a unique link in their emails, which will bring them to the survey.
The survey helps Residential Life assess student’s satisfaction, sense of community, and learning as a result of living on campus.
The survey should not take more than 10 minutes to complete. The survey questions pertain to dining services, safety, facilities, services provided in your room/apartment, programming content, and more.
The feedback from the survey will be used to inform Residential Life’s work in the Spring semester and beyond.
We want to make sure we hear every voice! To make sure we get the fullest picture possible, we want to hear every student’s voice! In the past, we’ve achieved a 70%+ completion rate. Help us beat that! In order to help you get motivated, we’re offering some incentives!
Grand prize incentives:
Take the survey early (before 9am on 11/24 for a chance for 3 residents to get first pick housing assignments!
3 residents will win first pick for their housing assignment before Housing Selection begins! Complete the Resident Experience Survey before 9am on 11/24 to be entered into a raffle for a chance for you and your roommate group to get first pick for the housing of your choice before Housing Selection begins!
Anyone who takes the survey between 11/22 and 12/22 will be eligible to win the grand prize raffle: an Apple Watch (7) or Nintendo Switch!
Weekly prizes:
Up to $100 in food funds!
Each week the survey is open (between 11/22 and 12/22) we will raffle off 2 chances to win $100 in Food Funds! The raffle will include respondents who took the survey that week.

$5 coupons to Starbucks and Chik-fil-A
Beginning 11/29 10 respondents a week will win a $5 coupon to Starbucks or Chik-Fil-A!

Community-level Prizes:
Community who reaches the highest response rate will win a pizza party for their entire community!
*Students will be eligible for raffle prizes if they are in good standing with Residential Life and the University. Students are considered in good standing if they do not have a disciplinary sanction of probation, disciplinary probation, housing license termination in abeyance, or suspension in abeyance.
**Winners and their roommates must meet the Housing Selection License submission deadline of April 1, 2022 and have a submitted application, license, and reservation fee to claim their prize. Only valid for Residential Life spaces, not Walker Avenue Apartment.
