The Summer Housing application will open on April 2nd. Students are guaranteed placement if the summer housing application is submitted by 11:59PM on May 11th. Summer housing is limited so be sure to apply by the deadline to guarantee your space!
All students apply for on campus housing through the online application.You must have a UMBC ID to log in.
Summer housing will be located in Susquehanna Hall and Hillside/Terrace apartments for summer of 2018. Students will be placed in either a residence hall or an apartment based on cumulative credits as of winter session 2018. Students with Freshman and Sophomore standing should expect to be placed in Susquehanna Hall. Residence Hall residents will be required to be on the 12 meal a week summer meal plan. Apartment residents may purchase a summer session meal plan but meal plans are optional since apartments have full kitchens. Cost will be approximately $245 per week for all summer school residents – cost includes a meal plan for students living in Susquehanna Hall. Students will use the Apartment Community Center for services from 8AM to Midnight, the Susquehanna Hall Front Desk will serve as a 24-hour service desk this summer. Students must either be enrolled in a summer session course or be working on campus for the duration of the time they are registered for summer housing. When students are ready to check out they must make a check out appointment with a summer RA.
