Cable and Internet

Cable service is provided in each apartment or residence hall room. This service allows reception of many local and campus stations, as well as a wide variety of network programs.
Residents need to provide a coaxial cable to connect their T.V. or DVD player into the wall outlet to access cable. Cable televisions are also available in the lobbies. For information about channels and availability click below:

UMBC Cable Television Channel Lineup – Spring 2017

Internet Access is available in each resident’s room or apartment; one high-speed internet jack per student. Wireless access is available in all common areas and rooms. Internet on campus is provided by Comcast at a speed of 100Mbps Down/100Mbps Up.
